Abstract:
This study examines the management of learning evaluation in enhancing academic quality at Salakanagara University. Learning evaluation is a critical component of higher education quality assurance, as it provides systematic feedback for curriculum improvement, instructional effectiveness, and institutional decision-making. This research employs a qualitative case study approach to explore how planning, implementation, monitoring, and follow-up evaluation processes are managed within the university’s internal quality assurance framework. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with academic leaders and lecturers, document analysis of institutional policies, and observation of evaluation practices. The findings reveal that structured evaluation management aligned with institutional standards and continuous improvement cycles significantly strengthen academic governance, improve teaching performance, and ensure learning outcomes. The integration of evaluation results into strategic decision-making and academic policy refinement further enhances institutional accountability and educational quality. However, challenges remain in optimising data utilisation and ensuring consistency across academic units. The study concludes that systematic and data-driven learning evaluation management serves as a strategic mechanism for sustainable academic quality enhancement in higher education institutions.
