Abstract:
The global tally reveals approximately 1.3 million fatalities due to road traffic collisions. Numerous accidents have occurred unattended at roadside locations due to the lack of access to essential emergency services. In scenarios where accidents transpire in sparsely populated areas or when a lone passenger loses consciousness, the critical time window for crucial medical intervention often elapses without the possibility of summoning aid. Considering these multifaceted challenges, the necessity arises for a cost-efficient system adept at promptly detecting collisions and notifying emergency services. This paper proposes a comprehensive system imbued with versatile functionalities. It encompasses collision detection, real-time monitoring of the health status of injured parties through integrated sensors, employment of cameras, 3G/4G technology, and an autonomous infotainment system. This system operates autonomously from the vehicle network, initiating emergency responses.
